The PlayStation 3's biggest upcoming racing game deserves only the best accessories possible. Hardware giant Logitech realizes that, and they're introducing the new Driving Force steering wheel for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue at the Game Developers Conference 2008 in San Francisco.The Driving Force is loaded with all the sweetest next-gen features to deliver the most realistic game experience to date. It has powerful force feedback and an innovative 24-position real-time adjustment dial for on-the-fly control of brake bias, traction and damper settings.
Logitech's wheel of wonder is recognized by both Sony and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue developers Polyphony Digital as the game's official steering accessory. Logitech has expressed its intention to deliver a product that measures up to the high quality of the game it's intended for.
"We're excited to be working with Polyphony Digital again to deliver a wheel that will satisfy the needs of car enthusiasts, like me, around the world," comments Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech's director of product marketing for gaming.
"People who love the striking realism of the Gran Turismo racing series will discover that Logitech's latest wheel will allow them to experience the cars the way they were meant to be driven," he adds.
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue was released late last year in Japan and will be available in North America come April 17th 2008. It can be played via a Blu-ray disc copy or from a downloadable copy from the PlayStation Network.
