It seems like Australian gamers will become fitter sooner than their counterparts in North America as Nintendo announced the scheduled release date of Nintendo Wii video game Wii Fit for the Land Down Under.According to the press wire sent to QJ.NET, the fitness title will become available in Australian retail shelves this coming May 8 while North America will be getting it a few weeks after that.
The suggested retail price is for AU 149.95 or roughly around US 138.40. Wii Fit has taken Japan by storm when it was first released there. As of January this year, the total units sold for that region alone has already reached more than one million copies - just one month after its initial release.
If that is any indication of the reception gamers in Australia will give to Wii Fit, then that number is going no where but up.
