Dark Sector character profiles

With the release of Dark Sector (Xbox 360, PS3) coming in a few months, Digital Extremes has increased the anticipation by releasing character profiles. What we have for you today are the ones for the main characters in the game.

These four will surely make the game even more interesting. So without any ado, here are some highlights of these characters' personalities:

Hayden Tenno
Hayden's is the Agency's top recruit that specializes in "cleaning up" whenever missions fail. Even though his job entails killing, he showed signs of having a conscience when he was sent to a classified mission. He felt that the people he killed didn't deserve to die. Because of this, Hayden had operational failure before the Lasria mission.

As a means for redemption, the Agency offers him to go to Lasria. The Assignment Director promised him that it will be his last mission. It's his involvement with Mezner and Sudek that gives him an edge and an emotional stake in the Lasrian mission.

Robert Mezner
From being a lab assistant, Mezner worked his way up to being a board member of the Agency. He has advanced degrees in biology, engineering, physics, and geopolitics.

Within a week of getting to Lasria to investigate a unknown virus, The Agency lost all contact with him. In his last audio transmission he said, "Everything you know about Dark Sector is wrong."


Nadia Sudek
Nadia's an expert at varied hand-to-hand martial combat skill. She also has advanced weaponry and electronics training. These make her a military prodigy and the youngest Agency operative ever commissioned for fieldwork.

Nadia left the Agency after Hayden's mysterious breakdown. Her motives are conflicted, since she wants to serve the Lasrian people yet she acknowledges her past with Hayden and Mezner.



Yargo Menshik
Menshik is a 61-year-old expert at electronics and counter-surveillance techniques. He has supplied Hayden with booster packs to stem the course of the Technocyte virus and information on the Black Market so Hayden can restock his weapons supply.

Within the course of the game, he serves as a sleeper-agent for the Agency within Lasria, observing the developments of the virus. Menshik has watched the breakdown of the city within a matter of weeks. He awaits the Hayden's arrival to provide back-up support.
