More Baroque Wii thrilling gameplay, character screenshots

Here are a couple of new screenshots for the upcoming Wii RPG Baroque, courtesy of the official website of Japanese magazine Famitsu. Before being ported to Nintendo Wii and Sony's PS2, the title used to be a Japan-exclusive Sega Saturn game.

Since this is the first time that Baroque will be gracing English-speaking markets, there are only a few details known about it. One of those is the exciting fact that dying in the game is one of the means to move the story forward.

Aside from that, we also learned a few days ago that Baroque Wii will sport an FPS perspective to give tribute to the original game. Developer Sing Entertainment also made a few modifications like updating the graphics and implementing wide screen support.

Baroque's new publisher, Atlus, has mentioned before that the game will hit video game retail shelves during the month of February next year.
