First ever Monster Madness: EX screenshots from SouthPeak

Here are some new screenshots for the upcoming PlayStation 3 video game Monster Madness: EX. This particular game is essentially the sequel of Xbox 360 original Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia.

EX is being developed by SouthPeak Games and will be sporting a polished look. The premise, on the other hand, remains the same: four teenagers set out to rescue their town against the unspeakable evil that's been unleashed.

In terms of gameplay, Monster Madness: EX is a beat 'em up brawler and can support up to four players in co-op mode. SouthPeak Games mentioned that the controls were refined while a host of mini games has also been added.

While there's still no concrete date as to when Monster Madness: EX will be released, the developer promised that is should arrive at video game retail shelves during the early part of 2008.
